intellectual ownership

One of the main activitirs of Technapoli is related to the promotion and exploitation of the guardianship of the intellectual ownership with reference to:

  • Information, on the importance of the guardianship of the intellectual ownership and  access to patent library the information brevettuali, particularly for the enterprises that intend to acquire or to develop technological innovation. Actually, since  1998, Technapoli belongs to  PATLIB centres’ European network, namely patent libraries dedicated to intellectual property’s spreading and safeguard. PATLIB was realised according to the relevant arrangement agreed on by current Ministry of Economical Development’s  Italian Patent and Trade Marks Office. At our Patlib Centre the following services are available:

    • invention’s uniqueness and originality verification;
    • technical problems solving;
    • current technological trends in Italy and abroad;
    • leader and concurrent enterprises research and development activities monitoring;
    • technical check of the state of the play, to properly direct any requested research;
    • patent’s entitlement and content verification before licence application;
    • patent’s deposit.

    Our service covers either EP patents or Word PCT patents.
    Our activity field can be easily stretched out to company trade mark’s research, guaranteeing  costumers assistance in patent depositing or trade mark registration.
    Since 2002 Technapoli has supported Naples Chamber of Commerce’s (CCIA) Patent and Trade Marks Office by handling  the sensitive task of projecting and still factually running Trade Marks and Patents consultancy room,  currently evading approximately 700 requests per year.

  • Another hot theme stressed and taken in great account by Technapoli is intellectual property’s economic valorisation, since it’s quite obvious that patents can be openly considered, although intangible, a valuable form of economic resource.

    Actually, intellectual property’s economic valorisation campaign has been carried out by our structure firstly with the remarkable support of some Italian Universities economic experts who contributed into laying out a concrete  proposal foreseeing the realisation of some evaluation model for each single patent or better, for a portfolio, when justified by sound theoretical hypothesis, enforced by factual and empirical analysis as well as eventually supported by  data processing system.

Technapoli, in order to exploit and profit by its ten-year experience in Intellectual Property safeguard field, realised IDEAM portal.
IDEAM portal provides an uncommon intellectual comparison and exchange space fostering and supporting Open Innovation, but mostly makes a proper Innovation’s Market Place available to anyone concerned and interested into swapping either innovative solutions, licensed or not, or problems to be solved.
IDEAM supplied services are cut out to more easily connect any customer either involved into offering new technologies and innovative projects (University boards, research centres, competence centres, technological poles, inventors) or those more interested into collecting them (enterprises, financial investors, public boards).
